Buying More
Seats Later

You do not have to buy all your seats at once. Most companies start with one group and add more as people join.

Reading your seat numbers

Your dashboard shows a box for each level with a number like 3 / 10.

WordWhat it means
PurchasedHow many seats you have paid for. The second number.
AssignedHow many of your people are set to take that level.
AvailablePaid seats nobody is using yet. The first number.

So 3 / 10 means you paid for 10 and 3 are still free.

When you need more

If you assign more people to a level than you have paid for, a yellow warning appears at the top of your dashboard. It names the level and tells you exactly how many more seats you need.

Until you buy them, invitations for that level stay locked.

Buying exactly the number we ask for is enough

If the warning says you need 4 more seats, buying 4 covers it. You do not need a spare. Once the number of paid seats reaches the number of people assigned, the invite buttons turn on.

How to buy more

This is a new payment

Buying more seats is a separate charge, not a change to your first one. You get a new receipt. Your old seats are not affected.

Buying ahead

You can buy seats before you have anyone to put in them. They sit as Available until you assign someone. This is useful if you have a budget to spend before the end of a quarter.

Seats do not expire.

Seats are per level

A seat you bought for Introduction cannot be used for Manager. If you assign someone to a different level than you planned, you may need to buy a seat for that level.
